Lara Croft is one of the most iconic roles in Angelina Jolie's career, but in an interview with Collider, the star said that when she was offered to work on the Tomb Raider franchise for the first time, it took her a few months to decide to participate in the project.
"When I first did Tomb Raider, I wasn't sure I wanted to do it... I said, 'I really didn't think that character suited me.'
Actually, I didn't want to at first; I said no. But they said you can travel the world and train with the British Army, so I had three months to see what I could do.
And I would encourage anyone to do that. Sign up as much as you can, give yourself a few months, try your hardest and think, 'What can I do?' that you're capable of, so I love it.”
